In the previous years, T-Mobile faced many tough competitions in United States for the wireless market, but their main focus was always their customers. Be it a retail outlet or the phone support center, customers were always given importance, and that really worked for them as they received many customer service and excellence awards.

Understanding the flow of Internet market, T-Mobile concentrated on their networks maintenance and has undergone repeated upgrades. This might be the reason why they claim to provide the fastest mobile Internet service in US. The secret behind their business strategy says CEO Hamid Akhavan, is that they put all their efforts to provide ‘killer experience’ for their customers. It that direction, they have undergone diverse partnership with the popular brands such as Apple, Google, Samsung and Motorola.

Stepping in to the competition, T-Mobile excessively used Social Media platform to advertise their products and market their brand. In that direction they directly targeted their rivals on Facebook page. The supporters of the rival brand raised their concern and expressed their negativity towards T-Mobile. Their comparison strategy generated mixed feedbacks in the US market, and has affected their minor section of sales. In future, they have to be careful in their online strategies against their rivals as, such moves can bring them unfavorable results.

According to CTO Cole Brodman, T-Mobile is presently concentrating towards new network software applications and diverse hardware. For the Smartphones, they will be concentrating popular and dominant US brands. Their business strategy worked for them up till now, but the future is always unpredictable!
